I was never really a fan of chicken wings primarily because I have a ‘thing’ about eating meat right off the bones. I can’t be the only one right?
Chicken wings do make a great party food and they actually taste really good, so as I get older, I learn to get over the ‘meat on the bone” thing. My girls love a good chicken wing too!
Suprisingly, I have loved all the wings we makes in the air fryer. We were gifted an air fryer a couple years ago and we have found the most success with cooking chicken wings. If you know me, you know I don’t cook so when I say ‘we’ I really mean my husband!
We love the ease of using the air fryer and cook chicken wings, fries, vegetables and more in it regularly. Its a much healthier alternative to deep frying and is much easier too! It actually sits on our counter as a regular use appliance since we use it so much. Chicken wings are so easy in the air fryer, that even I could do it (and remember, I don’t cook!)
You can make chicken wings in the air fryer in less than 45 minutes and it takes very little prep time.
- Spray air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent the wings from sticking.
- start cooking the chicken wings at a lower temperature and then turn up the heat at the end to give them a nice and crispy texture.
- Use simple seasoning before placing wings in basket; you can toss with your favorite sauce once they are done. This is also perfect for families or parties that have different preferences in sauce flavor.
So tell me, whats your favorite thing to make in your air fryer?
